Depuis la rentrée de septembre 2011, nous offrons également l'option spécifique Arts visuels. 

Swiss Maturité

Swiss Federal Maturité (10th, 11th, 12th and final)

The Swiss Maturité is based on seven key subject areas (studied by all students) which provide a solid foundation for all further studies :

  • Maternal language: French
  • Secondary national language: German or Italian
  • English
  • Mathematics
  • Experimental Sciences: Chemistry, Biology and Physics
  • Social Sciences: History, Geography and Introduction to Economy and Law
  • Visual Arts or Music

In addition, students may choose to study either:

a specific option, selected by the student according to his or her own personal interests :

  • Languages: 3rd national language, Spanish, Latin or Russian
  • Physics and Applied Mathematics
  • Economy and Law

or a complementary option from the following list:

  • History
  • Geography
  • Economy
  • Philosophy
  • Applied Mathematics
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Physics

Each student must carry out an independent project. They choose the subject themselves and prepare a written paper and presentation under the guidance of a teacher before the final exam. This project helps to develop the student’s independence and sense of personal responsibility.

The Swiss Maturité is recognized and accepted by Swiss and foreign universities, as well as specialized and technical colleges.
