At Institut «La Gruyère», we have always had an international outlook, favouring open-mindedness and cultural understanding. Every year we welcome more than 80 students, aged 12-20, from over 15 countries. A total of 8-10 classes ensure the maintenance of a personalised high standard of teaching. Half of our students are boarders. Girls and boys have different living quarters and are well supervised. Life in the boarding house is a carefully balanced mix of study, sports and cultural activities. There is a school bus every morning from Bulle, the nearest town, for the day students. They can also have lunch and an afternoon snack at school, attend the afternoon study periods and take advantage of most sporting activities offered to the boarders.
